SANDAKPHU PHOTOGRAPHY TRIP – MAY 2023

 

Day-1-06/05/2023           NJP / Bagdogra to Chitrey via Maney Bhanjung. Breakfast on the way & lunch at Chitrey. Night stay at chitrey. We ‘ll try to shoot milkyway & star trail from there. Try to reach at NJP / Bagdogra within 9 AM IST.

Day-2-07/05/2023            After breakfast we ’ll start for Sandakphu, via Tungloo, Gauribas & Kalpokri. Tea & snakes break on the road. Shoot landscape at Tungloo. Local portraits & streets. Lunch at Sandakphu. Evening excursion for sunset point. Night at Sandakphu. Room heater, worm blanket & hot water bag can be hired for extra cost (personal expense).

Day-3-08/05/2023            Early morning wakeup for stunning sunrise over Mt. Kanchanjungha range. After breakfast, start for Tumbling. Lunch & night stay at Tumbling. Shoot star trail & milkyway from Tumbling.

Day-4-09/05/2023            Early morning wakeup to visit Tungloo for sunrise over Mt. Kanchanjungha & shoot beautiful landscape with CPL & ND filters. After breakfast we will start for Chitrey. We ‘ll shoot local streets & portraits on the way. Tea & snakes on the way to Chitrey. Lunch & night stay at Chitrey. Camp fire & discussion on basic post processing & salon photography at Chitrey.

Day-5-10/05/2023            Breakfast at Chitrey & prepare for departure for NJP or Bagdogra. Please book your tickets after 7 pm.

 

ESSENTIAL THINGS YOU MUST CARRY & FOLLOW

Extreme winter garments like down jackets, thermal inner ware, gloves for extreme cold, worm head, ear, mouth & neck cover. Must carry a torch with yourself. Flux for hot water. High ankle shoes are preferred. Do not use electric kettle in your room. ID cards. Personal medicine. Some chocolates for personal use. Do not give anyone any money for shooting. Carry a small lock & key for room. Do not try to over look your instructor and guide. Give space everyone to shoot better. Without permission, do not leave the team. For any assistance, please consult with your mentor & guide. Do not misguided by other tourists & locals. Do not take any unknown food or drinks. This is a national park area; drones are strictly prohibited. Any fire works & fire crackers are strictly prohibited.

Package Inclusions: -

All hotel/home stay/trekkers’ hut accommodations throughout the tour.

All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

Mineral water 2 ltr every day.

All local transport as mentioned in the itinerary by Land rover or Bolero.

Permits to restricted areas

Guide and/or potter’s charge

Mentor’s fee for overall guidance

Package Does not Includes:

Train/flight tickets to and from NJP/Siliguri/Bagdogra.

Any personal habits or expenses.

Any medical expenses.

Anything that is not in “Inclusion” list.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

***If you cancel your registration, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:

Greater than 120 days from the start date of the Workshop: 90% refund of total fee.

Within 90 days: 75% refund of total fee

Within 60 days: 50% refund of total fee

Less than 30 days: No refund

***Under any unavoidable circumstances, if we have to cancel our photo tour, your entire booking money will be refunded.

Our Liabilities & Limitations:

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, natural calamities, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants' safety, comfort & general wellbeing.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any personal loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s always are at the client's risk.

Please Note: We will not be responsible for any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc.
